How These Events Actually Work
We're not big on lectures. Most of our time together is spent working through problems. You'll typically get a scenario — maybe it's a business considering expansion, or someone trying to model retirement savings — and we work it out together.
The format varies depending on the topic, but there are some constants. We always use real data where possible. We encourage questions during the session, not just at the end. And we make sure everyone leaves with tools they can actually use the following week.
- Small group sizes so everyone gets attention and can ask the questions they need answered
- Practical exercises using scenarios similar to what you'll encounter in actual work situations
- Resources you can take back including templates, reference guides, and example models
- Access to follow-up sessions where we review how implementations went in the real world
Past participants often mention that the most valuable part is seeing how others approach the same problem differently. There's usually more than one right answer in scenario modeling.
