Financial Scenarios That Actually Make Sense

Look, nobody wants another spreadsheet workshop that puts you to sleep. Our events focus on real modeling challenges — the kind you run into when planning budgets, forecasting growth, or trying to figure out if that investment actually pencils out. We bring together people who care about getting the numbers right.

What's Coming Up

We run events throughout the year across Australia. Some are half-day sessions for specific topics, others are weekend intensives. All of them focus on practical application rather than theory alone.

How These Events Actually Work

We're not big on lectures. Most of our time together is spent working through problems. You'll typically get a scenario — maybe it's a business considering expansion, or someone trying to model retirement savings — and we work it out together.

The format varies depending on the topic, but there are some constants. We always use real data where possible. We encourage questions during the session, not just at the end. And we make sure everyone leaves with tools they can actually use the following week.

  • Small group sizes so everyone gets attention and can ask the questions they need answered
  • Practical exercises using scenarios similar to what you'll encounter in actual work situations
  • Resources you can take back including templates, reference guides, and example models
  • Access to follow-up sessions where we review how implementations went in the real world

Past participants often mention that the most valuable part is seeing how others approach the same problem differently. There's usually more than one right answer in scenario modeling.

What People Actually Say

These are from folks who've attended previous events. No incentives for positive reviews — just honest feedback about their experience.

"I've been to plenty of finance workshops that promise practical skills but deliver theory. This was different. We spent most of the day working through actual scenarios, and Randolph had solid answers when things got complicated. Took the templates back to work and used them that same week."

Randolph

Randolph Keeling

Financial Analyst, Adelaide

"The cash flow modeling session cleared up questions I'd had for months. What impressed me was how they handled the room — everyone from beginners to experienced analysts got value. Small group size made a real difference. You could actually get your specific questions answered."

Dennis

Dennis Frobisher

Business Owner, Perth

"Attended the risk analysis series and it changed how I approach uncertainty in forecasts. Not revolutionary stuff, just solid frameworks explained clearly with real examples. The monthly format worked well — gave me time to try things out between sessions and come back with questions."
